Though switching between video, audio, and still modes isn’t very intuitive at first, it becomes easier with practice. The pivoting lens is useful, and the small lights help in dark environments, though they do make the camera more noticeable. Overall, for the price, this is a reliable and versatile little body cam.

This is a handy little body camera that I used for recording a recent event in my family. The ease of use and compactness helped me carrying my phone or camera around the event. The lens can be moved vertically to capture your subject. Post my family event I used this to record a work I was doing on my car with a buddy of mine and it really helps as your hands are free. There are numerous use cases one can put this to use so opportunities are abundant.The quality of image and with a built in battery it is an amazing product if you know how to leverage its features and put it to use.

Study the manual as it is not intuitive. It works for a small video camera, but I am not sure I would use this in a professional capacity. The picture quality of the photos at its best setting is less than 200KB per photo. The video is OK for recording events that are not crucial if some detail is missed. Good for hikes, touring a new city, recording family events etc.The motion detection function works, except for one missing detail that is not in the manual. Once you put it in motion detection mode, it will stay in that mode the next time you power it on. When you power it on it automatically starts recording video since you are moving the camera. The only way to turn off the motion detection (I found by trial and error) is to let it sit still while you are holding it, like sitting it on a desk and holding it down strong enough to not move the camera and long press the back button once it stops recording due to no motion. That is in standby mode. It has to be in standby mode to get to the menu and you have to get to the menu to turn off the motion detection.The other item is the lights are not infrared. They are just lights like on a flashlight. Human eyes can’t pick up infrared so that is how the night vision cameras work. The human eye sees a dark room, but the camera picks up the infrared light to show illumination. This is just a normal flashlight.Lastly, there is no reference to water resistance that I can find. I would not use this in the rain, or where it could get splashed, or even snowed on as that will melt and turn to water.

This advertises itself as being appropriate for law enforcement. No, this is not. It's not tamper proof or resistant, and doesn't have any of the auditing or reporting functions that are needed for proper evidence tracking.This is an OK camera for a body camera, but not for the purposes it claims.
