  • Do not support eARC.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • DO NOT connect TV to HDMI IN, connect to the OUT port.
  • If you get no audio, make sure input and output audio formats are consistent.
  • If you get signal drop or no image, please:

  1. Manually set the same resolution on both source device and TV;
  2. Un-plug and re-plug all cables;
  3. Try shorter HDMI cables.

If your TV or projector does not support HDMI ARC output, this product is exactly what you’ll need to get full surround sound experience. It’s good quality and simple to use.

We have been mixing it up and trying to 'up our game' with our home audio. I've been picking up various components trying to find that perfect mix to split and control the audio from the video.This product does the job. I'm no expert but it does the same thing as the $30 version with similar specs.Either way, I still put this with the 'high-end' gear.It does what I needed allowing me to put the video to a project and then pipe the audio into an input on the audio system that controls everything on a SINGLE remote.Everything has a remote that gets lost now, such a headache. Solved in the theater at least...For $60 you get the exact results you'd expect.

This little gadget is exactly what I needed. I wanted to hook up my soundbar to my gaming console. This lets me get the audio out without any problems. It supports all the fancy new HDMI stuff. Setup was easy. I just plugged it in, and it worked. The picture and sound quality are still great. It feels solid and well-made.

This is my third eARC audio extractor I've tried, the most expensive one. I have Nvidia Shield, a Samsung TV and an 2ch amplifier. I use spdif but not everything supports volume control with that. eARC to the rescue - with a voice extractor and keeping TV out to spdif which is not connected to anywhere I have audio input and ALL volume controls in shield work the same way and do work in first place, yahoo. HDMI CEC power control works too and I can turn off tv by powering off shield, all good. Except the fact that after powering shield back up I can have 3 different outcomes selected at random: 1. everything works fine 2. everything works fine for a second then all audio goes away 3. no audio whatsoever. Bummer! If it would work all the time that would be the solution, but probably I should stay on the SPDIF or buy new tv with headphone/aux audio output.

Unfortunately this Extractor disrupts the original sound signal, so if you want to use the TV speakers the sound is all gadip gadop and not usable. Deal breaker because we don't use the home theater setup for all tv viewing.

I ordered the iArkPower HDMI 2.1 Audio Extractor to help me set up a better audio experience for my home theater system. The main issue I was dealing with was that my TV didn’t support HDMI ARC output, so I couldn’t get the full surround sound experience I wanted from my soundbar. After reading through the details, this seemed like a good solution, and I’m happy to report that it worked exactly as expected.This audio extractor is incredibly simple to use and set up. I connected it to my TV and soundbar, and immediately I could hear the difference. The device allows you to extract audio from your HDMI source and send it to your external speakers or sound system using optical, SPDIF, or 3.5mm AUX outputs. It supports up to 7.1 channels of Dolby Atmos and DTS HD, so it’s a great option for anyone looking to improve their sound setup without having to invest in a high-end receiver.One feature that stood out to me is its support for 4K

I have an older tv in my den, and it’s not compatible with the assortment of connections for supporting audio connections to my surround sound. This allows me to get that signal from the HDMI and establish a high quality connection using the optical connection. Very handy device and kept my older model tv relevant. Good value and function.

I got a cheapo TV from a big box store, and although the picture is great, the sound leaves something to be desired. So, I got a soundbar, and hooked it up. Even though it was running through the eArc output, I had to set it up every time I used the TV. I took a chance, and got this box, and now everything runs smoothly! I know that's not what everyone is going to use this for, and I'm sorry I can't comment on that, but for me, it solved my problems, and I'm happy with it!
