Bought to connect to two servers in a small telecoms cupboard where there isn't room for another keyboard and monitor setup. This works really well to switch both the screens and the USB keyboard and mouse (and presumably any other peripherals you would want to plug into it). There's a small delay (3-5 seconds) for it to switch over but I think that's just the time it takes Windows to handle the new connections.

This switchboard is actually quite good. I've got a few as I use them for various things. This is a cheaper one I bought to test it out and it works just as good as the more expensive ones. You're able to connect three different devices to it and switch between two different monitors. It also has four different USB ports too, which allows you to connect various things like printers, keyboards and mouses. The switch button itself is so easy, just press it once and it switches for you, smoothly and easily. The switchboard is really good, design is nice, it's sturdy and it fits well with other equipment. The price of £59.99 is very good too.

As there are a few variants on this page, I'd like to point out that this is my review for "4K60Hz HDMI KVM Switch 3 Computers 2 Monitors USB 3.0".This is a HDMI switching device which allows you to switch between up to three computers sharing two monitors between them. You can do this simply with one switch. It also has 4 USB-A ports on the back which are shared between the two computers. These could support peripherals such as mouse, printer, etc.The KVM switch features a push button which allows you to simply and easily switch between up to three connected computers or laptops. This makes alternating between a work computer and a personal computer very easy when you have one desk at home. As we are all working from home these days, this piece of equipment is very handy indeed, and a space-saver. When switching between computers there is no noticeable delay or interruption in the video signal.

Like many, I'm now working from home and share my keyboard, mouse and monitor with both my personal and work computers. Although my monitor has multiple input, the need to have 2x keyboard and mouse is not only cumbersome, it's also messy and takes up valuable desk space. I therefore decided to try this as a solution.The switch itself is chunky and solid, but in a good way. It's not small, BUT given its capabilities, its still compact. All of the connections are well marked and feel like quality, and there in are enough to suit just about all applications.Use is again, simple. Plug in PC1 to the HDMI and USB-3, then the same on PC2, then connect each OUT HDMI amd plug in your peripherals to the 4x USB3 on the front. Then a simple click of the SW button will change between your two PCs, it really is that easy!!In use I can say that I haven't yet noticed a degradation in the quality of the display, or any input lag, which I'd expect given the price. It has however made things a lot easier than messing around with messy cables.If I had to picky, i would have liked to have seen rubber feet, just because it does have a habit of moving around,.but i solved that myself with some blue sticky tack. I would also have liked to see USB-C, alright I can again get around this with an adaptor.Overall, it's not cheap, but it's an effective and quality built but of kit that really does help any multi PC setup.
