I've been using HDMI splitters for quite a few years. I bought this as a replacment for one that just quite working. I have AT&T U-Verse. I Video Recorder and 3 Satellites boxes. But I have 7 rooms with Flatscreen TV's in them. I use the Splitter to run relays from the line coming into the DVR. The HDMI coming out of the back of the DVR is used to plug into the INPUT of the Splitter. Then one HDMI cable for the Bedroom TV, one HDMI line runs out to the Music Room, and one HDMI line out to the Pool Room, and one HDMI into the bathroom. The Splitter comes with a 9 volt power adapter. These work very well. Picture and audio are clear on each set. All my TV's are Samsung's. Not that that would make any difference. But if you need a splitter, I would definitely purchase this one over the higher priced one. It's going to the exactly the same thing. In my case, having all the cables already run, it was 2 minutes hooking up. If you need cable, you can get any length you need right here on Amazon. You can run it through the ceiling or under the flooring if you have crawl space. Just bear in mind, whatever the Set Top box channel is set on, all the other TV's will get the same picture. Also, even if you play a DVD or Amazon prime on the Main TV, the only thing coming through that splitter will be what comes out of that Cable box, period. The other TVs can still be used for watching DVD's and Amazon prime, if they have the right connectivity. ie, Smart TV's or additional HDMI inputs for DVD input, ROKU, Firestick or whatever. But TV stations are dictated by the Motherbox. My Remote will actually let me change channels while I'm in one of the other rooms. Not sure how I got that lucky, but it does. And if you have Comcast, they have a remote with their Xfinity system that is made for doing just that.. You purchase it separately.. Anyway, hope this helps someone..

Had been using a much more expensive 2 port splitter but needed more ports. Saw this and thought I would give it a shot. Worked so well I bought another. For the price it cant be beat. Definitely recommend.Nit picky issues;Having input in one side of unit and duplication ports on other is a tad klunky.Lights are a tad brightThere is a small "blip" when turning on a device that is attached thru extension port - but it lasts just a couple of seconds and then picture/sound is constant.

Works as expected and simple to setup. Can't tell if the splitter is causing quality problems or if it's the 50' Hdmi cables I'm using or my NVR. Anyway, I'm satisfied for now.8/27/22: The splitter stopped working. May have been a faulty power adapter that came with the splitter as I felt a shock when touching the product end of the cable. That may have fried something in the splitter because a new power adapter didn't make it work. I'll end up buying something different instead of this one again.

My main concern with this device was whether it stripped HDCP or not like the 1 to 2 splitter I currently have. It does, and has low latency which is quite important for me. The only complaint I have is that sometimes my computer will not know what default resolution the monitors are (they are all 1080p).

It's exactly what I needed and it works great!.My cable box's signal goes in and 4 identical signals come out.(Living Room TV, Bedroom TV (opposite side of the wall), Computer Monitor and DIGINOW Video Capture.)I said that it has a finite lifetime (now on my second) maybe because mine is powered on 24/7/365.It should work 1.5 to 2 years. I keep a 1 in/2 out splitter as an emergency spare.

This splitter worked as advertised and we were happy with it. It worked flawlessly for 3-1/2 years. May have been an issue with just this individual unit but that's a pretty short life given the run time and environment. We ran it for 2 hours every Sunday on a surge protected power strip and it was powered off otherwise. After 3-1/2 years it started intermittently blanking the screen then recovering after a second or so. Became more frequent over a few weeks. Again, we did get 3-1/2 good years out of it and electronics sometimes fail early. The power strip surge protector may have worn out, but our power is generally good and it was only powered 2 hours per week. The splitter's video quality and speed were good.

Think before you buy this. This only work for showing same desktop to 4 different monitors. If your purpose is to use extended screen this is not for you.It only splits the same HDMI output to 4 different monitors.

Works very well to feed 2 TV's and projector at the same time so as not to have to mess with a bunch of cable..
