I have an aftermarket tuned AMG Benz and use this exclusively for monitoring my boost. It's perfect for that, as it's small and you can mount it in multiple ways and it has settings to adapt the screen display for whatever orientation works best for you.Plenty of people skewered the reviews for reasons that aren't the fault of the device. The temps etc that it displays are simply whatever the OBD data stream tells it- that's it. The speed may be a few MPH different from your odometer, but that's the speed it's being given by the data stream- OR one can use the GPS to determine the speed more accurately. Speedometers in cars are often incorrect- as they aren't required to be, as they have up to 10% variability allowed. This actually has the potential to be more accurate if you adjust the offset to "correct" the data stream. It doesn't interpret data- it simply reports it.I've had it in my car for a year now and no issues at all. On rare occasion, I'll use it to check other measurements, but it's really only being used to show my boost. This is by far the best HUD I've tried, and I've tried many of them and quite a few hit the trash or got returned for being awful.If you have a very early OBD vehicle, you won't likely get ALL the data streams you want and it's not the tool's fault- it's your car. Some people are just unrealistic and don't know enough to know what's at fault.For a simple display that takes very little room- you can't beat it!

i wanted an oil temp gauge that my base mustang lacks. this not only reads that info for me but it also works as a mini HUD that reads any info you want. i have mine to read speed ,RPMs, and oil temp. love it thus far. Definitely recommend.

needed this for coolant temp, since the honda fit doesnt have a gauge. nice that it also shows oil temp as well. you can also set to see intake temp and a/f ratio. install is very simple just plug into obd2. but when i first installed it, it said obd2 not available on my model car. then i unplugged and plugged it back in and it worked. so fingers crossed this lasts. controls took some time to learn and the instructions arent the best.

I put it on my Lexus 300H F-sport (hybrid) and there were 2 issues, for some reason the hybrid mode did not work so when the voltage did drop (engine not running) it did turn off. Second when used in GPS mode then one time it did drain the 12 volt battery in 3 days. It did not destroy the battery but I will need to buy a new one before the winter or keep the charger always on when in the garage. One thing the on and off button on the hud is really cheapis and at times does not give full contact, once I thought something was wrong cos the voltage was to lo but after turning on and off on the button the voltage numbers were correct. Would not recommend cos of these 2 flaws.

So this seems like a really cool lil tool for older obd cars and it's very close in my opinion. Setup on my car was easy and had no issues connecting with obd. It's easy enough to flip through the menus and a small adjustment to the speedo in the settings and it is dead on with my cars speedo and GPS on my phone. Be a lil careful with leaving it plugged in. It has a power switch and I haven't had any issues just turning it off but some have said leaving it plugged in for long periods may still drain your battery. Best to just unplug it if you're not gunna drive the car for a few days.So now for my two big gripes after getting more into the unit. The first is the customization of what info you can display. You can only change the bottom most parts of information on each screen and it makes a lot of the screens less useful than they could be. I was most looking forward to the 6 unit display to easily show a number of parameters id want but since the top 4 parameters are locked im stuck with time running and distance traveled always being displayed. The second issue is the screen brightness. It's actually too bright in my case and while it's fine during the day at night it's blinding to have on the dash. It's supposed to have an auto adjustment but doesn't seem to change and manually lowering to its lowest setting is still too bright for my liking at night.Overall I'm a bit splitit does work and is an easy way to keep an eye on my water temps but it just could be better and ultimately left me a bit disappointed. I'll be looking for a revision or maybe a pro version with a lil more customization options down the road.

the device is good but it has a few things to take into account, apparently it all depends on the vehicle you have for all the functions to load.the installation was relatively easy because of the location of the OBD2 in my vehicle, the cable is flat enough to be able to put it between a notch in the dashboard of the car.It is compact enough that it is easy on the eyes, and visible enough that you can see all the information available.with my vehicle the following happens to me that I show below:does not show the speed, it remains at 0.it doesn't have to show the revolutions, I looked everywhere and it doesn't show it.does not show the engine temperature. it does not even have the option.According to the specifications it should show:speed -> stays at 0,clock -> works,RPM -> is not in the options,voltage -> works,water temperature -> not in option,distance -> stays at 0,satellite number -> does not show the option,Altitude -> random numbers.driving direction -> always shows north,driving minutes -> works,turbo presure -> always shows -7,acceleration -> does not have that option.I will try with another vehicle, but my odb2 works because I have a scanner and it gives me all that data.

Does everything it claims, install was easy plug and play. And surprised me with real time engine data while driving, can scan engine trouble codes and clear them as well. GPS speed and compas seem accurate and it helps my speedometer is off due to large tires. Looks modern and fits interior of vehicle perfectly. I have been recommending it to friends. It even has a quarter mile drag race type setting for speed runs.

I'm driving somebody else's car at the moment, and because I sit a high in the seat being very tall, I find it hard to see this speedometer especially if it's very bright..This has a very small rectangular screen and it sits quite obtrusively on the dash mat in front of me. It has a lot of options that can be displayed, but all I wanted was the speed, so I just left it with that, and it's perfect.It's a paperwhite display which I like.Very much fit for purpose..
