This worked great. I only needed it for a week to break a bad habit. Definitely worth the money for me.

Works well on my violin. Will stay there for a little while, because I need to build that muscle memory for a straight bow. It will also alternate with other exercises during practice, all with the same goal. For that. it works fine.Not quite 4 stars because the bars are think and coated in a slip-resistant plastic coating. This means that my bow barely has room to move between them, while held at an angle. and the bow will rub against the far bar. This make bowing rather awkward. So it will be fine for some basic exercises, but not for the more advanced ones where the bow speed needs to be controlled.The fact that it actually rubs against the bow does affect sound quality. However, the way it clamps on the violin does not affect the resonance itself too much.

Kind of a pain to get on and off. It's a bit twisted and took some varnish off my violin.
