After years of trying different products and sandpaper I saw a video on insta about someone using a heat gun to make the headlights clear. WOOHOO!!!! I did it!!! So much easier than anything else too!!! Took about 30min per side because they were really bad but it worked!

I purchased this in Oct 24. Used it 1 time, and stored away in the original box. Attempted to use it again for the 2nd time in Jan 24 but nothing. the gun wont even power on. The company advertises a 1 year warranty and says they will get back with you within 24 hours. After 3 days they did respond when I messaged them for the 2nd time. They asked for my order number and I provided. 2 more attempts to contact so far with answer. I'm not feeling too good about this product or their advertised warranty.

This is a replacement for the unit I purchased at HF which was a piece of junk, the fan quit after the 2nd use. The adapters are a really nice enhancement and the item was less than the one I replaced AND included adapters. Be careful to let the end cool after completing the job, it's really, really hot!

This heat gun worked just fine until it fell off my work station . It hasn't worked since. So I am back to electrical tape covering my soldered wires. It was fun using the shrink covers, but tape works fine and I guess I didn't need a heat gun after all.
