We noticed our grill hoods were rusted and had holes in them. Ordered new ones from Amazon and when they came, we were thrilled. They are made very well, sturdy, redesigned and a much heavier gage than the ones that came with the grill. They were exactly the right size and just popped into place. NEXT will be new "Grills" as ours are begging to show wear and a need for replacement. If your grill is still in good shape but the insides show wear, it's definitely worth purchasing these to bring it back to life.

These Heat Plates (Heat Shields) Replacements WORKED GREAT ... a "Drop-in" Replacement.Earlier, I had reviewed my order as Negative .. reason being "having received the wrong items". That review was based on an egregious errored feedback received from a family member (the recipient to which I had these delivered). This person had miss-measured them and a provided me with a miss-description of what he had received. So, I gave that earlier Negative Feedback accordingly.LAST EVENING, I got an Update ... that, in fact, the heat plates replacements were exactly what I'd ordered and worked great.I DO DEEPLY APOLOGIZE FOR THE EARLIER "NEGATIVE" FEEDBACK.

Unfortunately, these are as thin as the original plates. I cleaned the original plates, which are still mostly intact, and placed them over the new plates. That way the old plates get the splatter, while adding to the total density of the plates.

I did not look before purchasing but original flavor bars were not vented Such as this one. The units fit perfectly. The vents if anything may wind up being somewhat useful Moving items that are less cooked over the vented section.
