This switch does the job. I think it has acceptable build quality and it is still performing as intended.

This switch is decently constructed , but there are no stop limits at either end settings. It will spin a full 360 degrees.

This seems like a well made switch with a good, solid feel. It can be installed for either CW or CCW operation, but in doing so sacrifices having stop limiters (the switch rotation is continuous). It’s difficult to find a heavy duty but compact 3P+off rotary switch, so for my application it’s worth the trouble to fabricate external stops.

This is a heavy duty switch. Sadly, my fan windings were shorting out, so I only got about 1 minute of use out of the fan after replacing the switch.

Sure some people know , some people hire electricians, some people just get it . However where’s the directions , or schematics , breaking down the contact points , a simple piece of paper with notes from the manufacture stating ground , position 1, position 2 , position 3 , positive , negative . I can’t be the only guy looking for this . Think of all the phone calls and emails looking for information that I have seen in every electrical part bought in my 60 years . They are written in 3 or 4 different languages generally, even seen it in Braille some times you even have hot lines where you can get immediate answers . That obviously cost money but one piece of paper with notes couldn’t be that expensive. Best of all would have saved the time reading this right ?

Speed positions may be labeled wrong. My fan still worked,so I didn't attempt to resolve. I just ignore position label
