7676 Oil Seal Repair Tool Kit:
Compatible with BMW N20 N26 1.6L 2.0L petrol engines.
Similar to factory tool #83 30 2 318 117 and 83 30 2 212 825.
Used to properly align the balancer shaft into the correct timed position & holding chain sprocket for removing and installing/replacing the oil pump, chain, sprocket or balance shaft housing during chain repairs.
Helps to easily release and tighten the central bolts on the damper hub when you replace the timing chain.

2801 Flywheel Holder Flex Plate Lock Tool:
Compatible with BMW N20 and N26 engines.
Replace for BMW factory tool No. 83302222742. (Attention: Automatic transmissions only.)
Used for locking the transmission flex plate in place for performing a timing service on N20/N26 engines as well as secure the crankshaft with the transmission installed (connect to engine).
This tool can hold the flywheel while replacing the timing chain, helps to release and tighten down the central bolts on the vibration damper.

Works on N55 oil pumps when it’s time to angle torque the sprocket to the oil pump. 1 pin lines up to the sprocket, the other pin in between the teeth. Hold with one hand, torque with the other. Works great!

This product has to be modified for the locator pins to fit in. The pins were not straight and had to be hammered to work properly. Do not buy this. Buy a better one, we were in a pinch and couldn't wait for a new one

Tool does not fit into the oil pump sprocket.Pins are not spaced correctly

The pins that hold the oil drive gear are about worthless..CAUTION.....you can break your tensioner and guide assembly on lower gear set if this tool breaks while using it (i DID use the shaft lock) ).......so after breaking mine....i drilled the pins to 7mm installed hardened bolts w locktite cut heads off...and it now functions best.....but it costed me the above lesson...take my advise,( I didnt have untill AFTER)

As mentioned in previous reviews, the oil pump alignment tool does not fit at all. The prongs are completely off center and does not fit.

The flywheel holder worked as described. I used a few zip ties to keep it from falling out. The oil pump tool however, was an absolute nightmare to an already difficult job. The "prongs" that are supposed to fit into the holes on oil pump gear were way off. The 2 prongs we're bent way out of alignment and I had to carefully pound the shlt out of it to make them line up. It wasn't fun trying to make it all work but it eventually did

Didn’t work.. I should’ve known got the motor tore down then find out the tools don’t work. I have found as usual don’t bug anything for your German car on Amazon unless you want to make it work or replace the parts 10 times. Cheap garbage is all you can get on here. Go to ecstuning or Fcpeuro as nothing on here is good.

The flywheel holder was perfect. I attached the oil pump drive lock and the pins did not line up with the holes in the drive gear. They were too close together. I thought I might be done for the day but I filed some metal off of the inside of the pins to get them to fit and finish my timing chain replacement.
