About this item

  • Approximately 40mm distance between mounting holes (Nickel mounting screws #6-32 x 3/8"); designed to upgrade the cheap and replace nasty stock switches that come with most guitars and basses
  • Nice durable sturdy switch with metal body - one piece shell to minimise "flexing" damage from any knocking on the switch tip
  • Solid construction with shielding and solid feeling switching, smooth detents and quiet, no extraneous noise when switching
  • Body is enclosed and screwed shut, to avoid things from effecting contact points, with ground tags on both sides
  • Enclosed ball bearing operation. The thick, cast metal case provides a superior base and housing for the toggle and circuit board, also provides a more solid feel to the overall switch when it is mounted to the guitar

Works as intended and it’s super quiet when switching my Ibanez RG120. I also replaced my pickups with an active setup and everything works and sounds great!

Build quality seems good, switching seems silent, and it’s easy to solder on. Time will tell about durability, but I would buy again.

Very nice heavy duty switch. I gave it 4 stars because there were no wiring diagram and I had to hunt for it on the internet.

Purchased this switch for a budget guitar I'm using to learn how to mod on. This switch went into a Harley Benton TE-20HH SBK without issue. It's much smoother than the previous switch, although the toggle button sits a little higher than the original, but that's no big deal. Not sure what the others have said about lack of wire diagram, it's in the listing description and easy to figure out even without one. Great product for the price.

These are some much more beefy than anything you get as a stock part. They have a great positive feel when you switch positions.

I returned it because it did not fit the space of my guitar.

I ended up buying one of these for my PRS Custom SE and the schematic is wrong the prongs that have a bridge on the actual product are reversed. The Product Tabs Come like: T T-T T-T T-T TThe schematic shows: T-T T T-T T T-TI Ended up having to use a multimeter to find out which tabs corresponded to the correct leads I wanted. outside of that, it works all the same as the stock PRS one.

Pleasantly surprised by the build quality. No wiring instructions but not a prob if you have a multimeter to trace the signal path in each switch position. Will buy again.
