I bought this for my 55 pound golden doodle when we go down to camp at the lake. He is not good about staying close. The 30 ft cable was perfect length so he could ran around, and still be close, but far enough away from the dinner table. I was worried he would be able to pull it out of the ground, but it is so sturdy it stayed put the whole weekend! The soft handles made it comfortable to install

Used it for a camping trip, it was hard to screw into the ground but worked well!

Within 5 minutes of putting my 50lb dog on the lead, it's saw another dog in the neighborhood and took off at full speed.I now have indisputable proof that when an unstoppable object is tethered to an unmovable object, the unmovable object wins as far as this product is concerned.It held right in and didn't budge. And I'm pretty sure my dog will think twice next time it's attached to this contraption. Looks like it is built great, it's not a light designer dog stake. Seems like it will hold up for years. The hand grips are really comfortable, but since it doesn't have any type of extension bar to increase the leverage when you are drilling it in it takes a little bit of elbow grease. Leverage sold separately.Very satisfied!

I needed a quick solution as we live on a very busy street and my elderly dog recently began wandering into the road.This was perfect. Easy to place. I just wish I could have had the option to purchase a longer than a 30ft lead with the stake. I did purchased a 50 ft lead after the fact. I just would have liked to get the length I wanted initially.

I have a very strong 80lb pit bull. I can easily let her outside and have had zero issues with this even coming close to getting pulled out of the ground. A++

Cable is super strong, I like that it is bright blue, easy to find in grassy areas. The stake is/was solid. Being in Florida the foam handled dried out in less than a week. After 6 months my dog managed to chase after a cat in the yard pulled the stake out and broke the swivel connector. After looking at the pieces I realized this was not solid metal rather cast metal and she BENT THE STEEL STAKE.

I have a fenced in backyard but wanted something for the front yard for my lab when I’m out doing yard work or sitting in the front porch. She is a 65 pound lab and this was so strong, I have absolutely no worries of her pulling out the stake.
