We just finished our fence and needed a new mailbox. I was looking for a plain black box when I founs this. It's perfect! The weathered green color makes it look like it was made just for our fence, which is sage and black. The butterflies and swirl design make it even more attractive. It is sturdy and has a magnetic closure. I also like that one side is smooth for house number placement.The only little hiccup I had was the flag. I wanted a red flag, and this box was all one color, flag and all. However, a little spray paint did the trick nicely. As you can see in the pictures, it turned out very nice.

The mailbox is the exact color and decorated exactly as pictured. I would say that the "birds" look more like ducks or geese, but maybe there are billed birds like that where this is manufactured, I don't know. I'm happy with it regardless. It has a beautiful aged and weathered appearance. The flag is a tight fit but I imagine it will loosen up over time and with use. There is a magnet to hold the mailbox closed, which is probably in the description but was a nice surprise to me. It was easy to install on the post we built and came with all the hardware that was needed. It's not a mailbox that you'll find at any other house on my street and I like that.

Bauhaus school of design, form follows function. This has a beautiful form and functions well. Zero installation instructions, but I installed this solo in 15 minutes. We have a 1920's historic house, so the antique patina is perfect. The butterfly design fits our gardens perfectly. This is slightly shorter than our "old" standard mailbox, but that works out, since the door doesn't drop down. My husband appreciates (verbally) the ease of opening and closing the mailbox. I recommend and would buy again. My neighbors just love it.

Mailbox is well constructed but small. I like the ornamentation on the box and especially the butterflies on the top. BUT, after only 2 months attached to my post it is starting to show a number of rust spots. The attached photos show only two examples of locations where rust has begun. BUT, if the manufacturer had done a good job during the galvanization process there should not be any rust. Amazon or the manufacturer suggests a lengthy process you need to go through to clean, sand, neutralize, and then paint to mailbox to get rid of the rust. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE AND SUGGEST YOU LOOK AT OTHER MAILBOXES. IF YOU BUY THIS MAIL BOX YOU ALSO WILL PROBABLY NOT BE HAPPY WITH IT WHEN IT RUSTS.

I was pleasantly surprised. Was totally better than I thought it would be. Very durable. Absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to put on my new mailbox now. I love it.

Just installed the mailbox. Has held up nicely so far except it is not waterproof! All of my mail was completely soaked!

Love the antique design of this mailbox. It is a green vintage colour. The leaves and birds are a nice design.
