This stool is so handy, before purchasing, I would constantly have lower back pain being in awkward positions, and I would be constantly running back and forth to grab my tools. Now I am so much more efficient and without pain. Perfect solution for small handyman type jobs. We use it as an extra seat in our kids playroom as well!

Screws started backing out of the seat in the first week. Screw inserts also completely fell out of the bottom of the seat with the screws attached.

At first it was o.k., but then a few weeks later started to fail in raising or lowering the seat. Yesterday I went to sit down in the higher position that my husband uses and it failed….went quickly to the lowest position without touching the lever! I almost fell off the seat. My husband had carefully followed the instructions during assembly. He is very familiar in using these seats. We both would not recommend this seat.

Good construction on seated area and frame but the casters (wheels) were junk after two weeks. This is rated for 300 pounds I’m 197. Wheels are defective. Buyer beware.
