25 ft. is plenty long for anything I need compared to my old 12 ft. 30 year old. But my old ones was solid copper with thicker jaws but they are all stiff now and the jaws are bent and worn. The handles on this new one feels good but are thinner than I like. The 0 gauge is flexible enough because of the multiple thin strands and the sheathing is good. Will see how this aluminum cable works and give updates later. Could have built my own out of my welding cable but that would cost 3 times as much.

I like to keep a set of jumper cables in all my cars. 90% of the vehicles on the road have battery technology has been the same for at least the last 50 years. So, they will get weak. Get a set of cables and have the piece of mind that you might be able to get a jump start after you left your dome light/headlights/etc on too long. And heck, you may even be able to help somebody that is in a jam.
