These are great stands for the price. The only downside I’ve had with them is the design to open them kinda sucks solo and makes much easier if someone is helping you open with the nature of the locking tabs. Need a better way of opening the legs from the stowed position.

A wonderful product. but its heavy and hard to carry around. But if you want to keep it stationary, is the best option

This is so solid and professional feeling. It is now the sturdiest light stand I own (and I have a bunch). The wheels screw in rather than pop in like an office chair, so they can easily be removed for easier storage. The rubberized grip makes it nice to wheel around. The light attachment is super solid but it comes with no adjustment rather than straight up or down, so I use this with the stand so I can angle lights when needed: "U-Shape Camera Flash 180°Swivel Mount Bracket with Standard 1/4 to 3/8 inch Flat Head Metal Screw Spigot Stud Compatible for Umbrella Softbox Reflector Holder Stand for Video Studio Light"Downsides? The base where the wheels attach must be fully extended and so it takes up a fair amount of space at the base. And while the spring loaded levers to lock the base arms either open or closed are innovative, they require some effort to pull them and there is definitely a pinching hazard. Finally, it does not get super small when folded and does not come with a carrying bag (although it does come with what seems to be a holder for a weighted sandbag). But overall it's super versatile given how easy it is to move and how high it can go. I'm using it to mount a hair light currently and I can get it at a perfect angle using the adapter I mentioned above. If you need a super solid light stand that you can wheel around and will last a long time, then definitely get this.

This is very heavy duty and can hold alot of weight. It is strong and takes a bit of work to open it up and use compared to a light stand. It has casters that can be removed as well. When it is standing, it will hold up alot of heavy lights as long as you have sand bags at the bottom. Different design but it locks into place to secure the stand when you open it up. Overall, good mobilty from the caster wheels which is bigger and fatter than my neewer caster wheels that I add on to my other light stand. This also can go up to about 10.5 ft which is a nice height along with the springs inside when it drops.

Heavy Duty Light Stand with Caster - 10.5ft/320cm Adjustable light stand with Stainless Steel, High Stability and Mobility Photography Light Stand for Strobe Light, Softbox, Reflector This is a really great all metal rolling stand. It is mostly chrome on the outside except for the leg spreaders. The main outer riser is heavy duty and feels very robust while the inner two risers feel a little bit thinner and lighter, only just a little though. The wheels are very nice and the hardware clamps nice and tight for a solid hold. It’s not always easy to find such a robust stand for a good price so this is a welcome unit in the marketplace of often disappointing light stands. I am very impressed with this and I am grateful to have it in my grip kit. I really have no complaints, it’s a nice mix of heavier and some lighter metal parts giving you a good trade off between weight and heavy build. I am very picky about stands and this is rather impressive at this price point, or any other really.

This thing is a monster. It's all stainless steel. It can extend to over 10 feet in height, so you can abuse it with a top-down light, boom microphone, or camera on it, and it's so heavy duty, it'll ask for more. The legs log in with spring-loaded clips that are a little difficult to work, but that means they won't slip out on you. It rolls very smoothly, and even comes with a carrying bag, although it's a little flimsy for such a heavy lightstand. At this price, you will not be able to find anything even remotely as good as this. I've tried. I've tested a bunch of photo/video gear, and nothing I've tested stands a candle to this stand. One caveat to it is that the casters are smooth, hard rubber, so you will want to use this on a smooth, hard surface such as concrete, tile, or asphalt if you film outdoors. Otherwise, you might need to see if you can replace the casters with something more 'off road' capable. Overall, though, I REALLY like this stand!
