Bracket was as advertised and is stury enough to hold my projector. Very easy to use and install.

I used this with a heavy DSLR camera and it holds up great. The locking at the joints are very simple to adjust and they DONT MOVE and inch once locked in. I had one prior that would slowly lose position over time. There's complete control over how to position it too. Literally any angle or position can be achieved. The arms are pretty heavy duty too.

Pretty much impossible to tighten the arm joints to the point that they won't flex under weight heavier than a phone or small action cam. I think it's the attachment points of the arm segments themselves rather than the locking cogs, but I can't tell for sure. Once weight is applied (a Panasonic mirrorless camera and moderately sized lens in my case) it flexes out of position, but then seems stable enough. But this makes precisely adjusting it a pain. Though apparently not listed on the package contents, the included ball head mount is completely useless, it simply won't hold weight at all, unless you fully tighten the hex screw in addition to the thumb screw. But then it's just locked in place and the thumb screw becomes non operational, meaning you have to use a hex wrench (not included anyway) every time you need to adjust the framing. Way too cumbersome. The desk clamp works decently, but the cheap plastic lever for tightening it is flimsy and seems sure to break before long unless you're very careful to grip it near the attachment point and not the end. I ordered a better ball head mount (Smallrig) which makes the arm mount at least moderately usable, but I'll soon upgrade to something better. Save your money and just order something better to start with.

We bought this arm to support a circle ring light that my wife uses to shoot products against the backdrop. It is very sturdy however, we had to support it with some string tie offs so that she could move it around freely and not have to keep readjusting it. It works very well for our application.

easy to put together - puts the webcam up high. works great. my cam is a little heavy, and it holds it firm.
