The build quality of this stand is something I haven't seen from Neewer before! Such nice thick knuckles, the single mold pieces on each riser seems just like the big brand name builds.The height of this stand is so so great, I love the four risers, something quite new for Neewer with the nearly 10 foot tall height.The safety feature of this stand I really like with the pneumatic dampening. If a knuckle accidentally loosens or someone walks by and rests their hand on the stand which inadvertently loosens it, which DOES actually happen, then the light on the stand would slowly fall and not slam down. And what is nice is that it slowly falls from the instance of loosening, unlike a spring loaded stand where it would pick up speed falling fast and then hit a spring, it lowers slowly right away.I'm a fan of the 1/4" inch screw on the half baby pins on these stands, as well as the 3/8" thread on the opposite. I'm also a fan of how the baby pins can be removed and or replaced.Now here's the biggest con in my mind that would steer me away from buying this stand... The stand is simply too small, and too light weight for the majority of lights I have, even Neewer branded lights.. the new CB60 lights I got I would not fly these on, I think you would need some very lightweight lights to use with this stand.My favorite Neewer stand is still the silver steel 102" inch stand, it's tall and sturdy. My large softbox caused one of the cheap stands to bend so this was the answer. It is tall enough so I do not need to overextend the sections. It works great and it is also air cushioned so it does not bounce if you encounter any accidents.

Legs and upright were of decent quality, but clamps and screw heads are plastic and might not last. In photo they look like cast aluminum.

Me ha parecido de construcción endeble para la altura que alcanza de 4m. Pensaba que tendrÃa la calidad de los c-stands de la misma marca, pero no. Las palometas para apretarlo son simplemente ridÃculas... tanto que el fabricante te añade 2 extras para cuando se te rompan al apretarlas. Los acabo de recibir... he comprado dos. Veremos cómo funcionan...

Me gusta que son de desplazamiento lento hacia abajo, como amortiguador para evitar que golpee si por alguna razón se suelta entonces no cae de golpe ni rebota como los de resorte, solamente me parece muy delgado en comparación con el que tiene 1 metro más que es bastante más grueso y resistente por unos 500 pesos más.
