I was looking for a tough broom mostly to sweep our hunting camp roof off of hemlock pine needles that build up every year. I took a chance in hope's that this one would be stiff enough for the job plus sweeping out the garage and my building. And it turns out its heavy duty and will last a longtime for the roof. I still have softer puch brooms incase the cement garage floor is left with too much dirt and saw dust? Very happy with this purchase!
