This trumpet hanger is intended for use with the slotted board often seen at music stores but since I wanted to use it in my home I had to modify it a bit by putting a shim along the bottom edge and running screws in the top and bottom. It now works as well as any guitar hanger that I have.The black conical shaped piece is velvety and adjusts up and down to fit the horn.
