Weigh exactly what they should, love the shape and its feel. Value is ok. I'd still recommend getting some from your mom or aunt who really doesn't use them. Grip was meh and I actually used hockey tape to improve. Slippery metal for grips is lame. Size is fine, maybe a bit long. I prefer em fatter compared to longer. Good addition to the workout space.

They came super fast. They are perfect weight for my home workouts. The only thing that is weird they came with some grease. They were greasy idk why. I will wipe them of.

I have bought 2 different pairs of 10 and 20 pound dumbbells for my strength training exercises. I wanted to built my strength back up.Right after opening the packages, I noticed that there was excessive oil on them, secured in bubble wrap. For those who don't know, the oil is there to preserve the prevention of corrosion on the hand bars of the dumbbells. If the oil wasn't there it would've rusted, ruining the quality of the tool. But it was a bit too oily in my opinion.Albeit, it doesn't help when the excessive oil is on the weights! I had to clean both pairs of 10 and 20 pound dumbbells using water and mostly dish detergent for almost 20 minutes! Kind of a waste of time.Just like what the other reviews have mentioned, it does have an oily/rubber scent emitting from the weights; the weights are also kind of fragile on solid places as well because they will leave some black spots on solid areas you put them on (this is while cleaning the dumbbells from the package).If you were me, just keep the boxes where you got the weights from and as soon as you get done with them (exercising with them or cleaning them to be precise), place them in the box, closed, to block the odor; the odor isn't that bad especially when you're working with them close to your face especially for the intention of using your arms for this very purpose.Overall, despite cleaning the excessive oil and getting used to the faint smell, the performance of the product is great.
