About this item

  • 1. Environment friendly Cholla driftwood – Beautiful, 100% NATURAL and organic a porous like structure. Found in deserts as cactus skeleton. It is completely safe for all your small pets as it is non treated.
  • 2. COVER IT WITH BOILING WATER and let it soak till it is water logged. Rinse it and add to your tank. This is recommended and will reduce natural slight browning of your water and help them sink better as they are very light and will float initially. They are naturally good anchors for growing aquatic plants and look very fascinating underwater.
  • 3. Made in the USA – Size is about 6 inches, the diameters are 1"- 1.5”. We strive to make the diameter exact but since the wood is natural and has an irregular shape we can only guarantee the diameter will be within a quarter inch of the diameter you pick. Please note: All product photos are not exact, product color and sizes may vary a little.
  • 4. Hiding place for your pets – The Cholla sticks are great for creating natural appearance, and adding additional hiding places for shrimp, Betta, small fish & babies, pleco or fry. Also, chewing helps chinchillas, hamsters, rabbits to relax.

Easily attch live plants such as Air Plants, Succulents and Fern, Anubias, bucephalandra, or even moss to create a natural sunken log effect, or place in reptile habitats to create a desert look.

One of them was a little broken. I put it in with my beetles. I wouldn't want to put it in with my leopard gecko. That could be a problem depending on where you intend to put it. It was still very much worth it for the price for me.
