Measuring Thickness
Measure the thickness of the workpiece - 0.78"/2 cm (0.78"/2 cm in this example)

Set Drill Depth
Adjust the slider upwards by 1 cm (i.e. to the centre of the material), leaving 2 mm for drilling

Fixed jig position
The guide block can be used with F/C clamps Secure the workpiece and start drilling

Punching And Joining
Join the two boards together with suitable screws (3/8 inch) and use wood plugs to perfect the joint

This works great! Hard to believe it's so inexpensive. Instructions are easy to follow. If you think you may need one, go ahead and get this one. Cheaper than a meal for two.

There was a bit of a learning curve for me using this as I am not a wood worker, handy man, but I was able to figure it out with a little thought. I am a first timer and was successful at using! It will hold up as I was rough with it and I held up. It adjusts easy. And made great looking holes I can hide with wood filler.

Pro quality? Nope, but certainly good enough for amateur use. Have used it to build numerous items and it works exactly as it should. Low cost and accurate performance.

Great tool for joining boards. it was a tad too narrow to fit a 2x4 but I cut off a little bit of the screw side of the black disk that tightens against the wood and it worked fine. Still give it 5 stars.

I like that it's made of aluminum and not plastic. What I dislike is the distance between the two guiding holes, I think it should be a bit wider or have three holes like others. What I hate is when it starts to fall apart. One of the hole cylinders is not stuck anymore and comes out every time I use my drill bit to drill a pocket hole. Of course this happened after the return window.

Just finished making a table with the jig. No problems using it and it did the job satisfactorily. I would definitely recommend it.
