2025 Edit: Had a small issue with one set of panels and they took care of it immediately no questions asked. Great seller great customer service and a pretty great product. No more roof raking needed! THANK YOU!!!I like the look of the panels as well as the easy installation. My installation was a little rushed and crude because I became short on time because of the time of season by the time I ordered the panels. I live in a Northern part of the country we get a lot of snow and cold temps (except for this year 24) and have a lot of problems every year with ice dams. These panels have been tested in cold artic temps in double digit negatives and I gotta admit they they are doing pretty good. I am Having problems with them not melting around the edges which Has caused very large icicles and some ice build up Iรขโฌโขm hoping it wonรขโฌโขt result in an ice dam or damage to shingles, But Overall I am satisfied with the panels they have been able to keep up enough to keep the ice dams away so far. Justin did a great job with customer service and answering questions. Very prompt. Really impressed with Justin.Improvement recommendations would be; better heating dispersed around edges of panel,Longer power cord, provide option for longer jump cords for longer spacing in between panels.

We've had a lot of snow this year in upstate NY. I had a ton of ice in my gutters and bought 24' set of these gutter heaters. Plugged 2 panels in when they arrived, they were plugged in for 8 minutes and they never reached over 95 degrees. I checked the temp. with my dewalt infrared heat detector. sending these back as they were advertised to heat up to 158 degrees. too bad, i liked how they looked. but pretty much useless.

Overall these units will melt the gutter full of ice in about 24hrs. I cycle mine after a snow event to work in conjunction with the roof panels that I also have from H&G. I have used another type in the past but the cable type system only keep it ice free around the cables. Overall this product is far superior in quality and heat that it produces. Very easy to install.

I purchased the heat panels for roof gutter and valley for the gutter above our front door. Before installing them, I had a few questions and H&G promptly answered each one. I look forward to the next snow to see the panels in action.

Horrible!!! Would give 0 if possible. We are supposed to have heavy snow this weekend in IN and was excited to order these! Literally just received them in the mail today, got them all plugged in and ready to go. They worked for about 10 minutes, if that, then completely just quit working!! Thank goodness didnรขโฌโขt put in gutters yet. None of them work at all. Will not even get warm. Complete crap! I usually donรขโฌโขt leave reviews, but I will for this because it ticked me off. Why are people allowed to sell crap??

I'll write this review on the installation of the heat panels now. I'll edit my review when we see how well they work after we get snow. It is easiest to install the panels on a sun warmed roof. We found that we did not need to screw the panels into the roof as they tucked securely under the tab of the shingle. Be careful as it was easy to break off bits of the shingle as they fit so snuggly. The clips seem to be enough to hold each panel securely. It has been easy to have email contact with Justin at this company.

Our shingles lower edge were glued and the was no way to lift and attach. I sent them back for credit. Thank you Amazon !
