Order these to replace my original filter that I purchased for the summer. I've been using to filter water for my evaporative cooler. They seem to be effective as I haven't had any recurrence of calcium buildup since I've been using it.

We put these on our misters for our chicken run. We have a well that has a lot of rust and lime. Whenever the mister stops misting, we know its time to change the filter. As soon as we switch it out, it works perfectly again. I'm sure these are saving our misting heads. I can see tons of rust inside when I change the filter out. Lasts a good few months before you need to change them.

When I first connected the filter both end where leaking, I then added extra washers and that did the trick

I just ordered 8 more because THESE WORK GREAT !!!EXCELLENT VALUE.The FEMALE END does need a double rubber washer and put teflon tape on your male hose end to secure the tight connection.Zero calcium buildup so far after Weeks of daily use.VERY IMPRESSED !!!

I installed the filter as the instructions. Turned on the water to misting system and the filter instantly clogged all the sprayers on a old system. Then I bought a new H&G system and the filter ruined the new system from the same manufacturer. Both the old and new systems worked perfectly before I installed the filter.

I used this product to go in-between the hose and a mister system. I had heard mister tips can get clogged so I tried this. Easy install. Worked great all summer. Will set it up again this year.

I brought these to install with my new misters. So right out of the package and installed with my new mister, it seems to work just fine but after a few minutes, a few of the nozzles began to clog. So I am left to wonder, does it work or is it because of maybe some residual water in the line. Took a few minutes switching out the nozzles to get them all working for a party.Ok, after that one party 2 months ago, I haven’t just the mister since. Today, I tried to turn on the mist system and only one out of 6 nozzles was working. On another separate mist system, 3 out 6 didn’t work. Based on that alone, the filter doesn’t appear to do anything. I have some descaled for my ice machine, and that seems to fix some of the nozzles. On one nozzle I did find a small grain of sand blocking the inlet. So, that would mean either the filter allows sand to pass, or the material inside the filter is breaking apart. Think I will have to remove the nozzle and clean them after each use or storage til the next party.But the final verdict is that you should not waste your money on this filters.

Using these filters makes the misters they are attached to essentially never plug up. However as the connections are plastic there is a chance of damaging the threads if your not careful and they leak just a little bit. Recommend getting some Teflon tape with it
