I’ll start with what I dislike;The cutout for the cable-end to go into is a bit shallow and was really difficult to get the cable to slide through that slot. Could just be the model of bike I’m using it on (2005 CRF150f). But, once I got it in everything else worked great. Smooth pull, looks great, and better looking than stock I’d say.

Bought this to refresh my '82 Yamaha XT200 but the original cable just doesn't fit into the opening. The hole wasn't deep enough and the slot wasn't wide enough. I filed and Dremeled until the cylinder went in but the slot still wasn't wide enough and the cable ferrule bound up, couldn't pivot. I returned it and reused my old lever with some fresh paint on it. Much better, my old lever's pivot is crisp compared to this new part's sloppy, wiggly lever.Not sure how this became an Amazon-recommended part. Maybe OK for cheap mini-bike but not a real motorcycle.

This product isn't for a motorcycle, the cable on my Honda xr200r is too fat to fit in the adjuster.
