Worked perfectly and at a very reasonable price for my new American Standard Cadet toilet that originally came with a plastic "chrome" handle.My plumber told me that I should look for the American Standard replacement part, and so I did, but: the old age bronze finish that I wanted was not available for this particular toilet tank model, and, it appears to be, not all American Standard (AS) toilet tank handles are created "equal" - meaning, I would have to use trial and error to see if any other AS-made toilet tank handle fits the model that I have, plus those parts were quite expensive (forty, seventy, ninety (!!!) dollars). I did A LOT of research - funny, eh? For this small part...I have had a good experience with Hibbent products before, so I decided to give this one a try. It worked like a charm! Solid piece, simple construction, handle is made of metal that's a rich dark bronze color through and through. You have to bend the metal arm where the flapper chain attaches just a little bit to fit it properly inside the tank, but that's what is described in the provided instructions. See pictures.

I had recently bought a plastic toilet handle with a plastic rod and it lasted about a month before it broke. I bought this one that was all metal and brass and it was completely worth it. Very easy to install and no tools needed. It has rubber washers on both sides of the handle that helped ensure a tight fit. The rod itself is made of brass and is so much more durable than the previous one I bought. All handles need to be built like this. Don't waste your time with the all plastic ones, as they won't last. Highly recommended.

I did like it, installing it seamed loose for the hole that was in the tank but fully installed worked fine and looked great. The instructions were helpful in how to bend the arm. The original handle was cheap plastic and broke.

Perfect fit on our American standard toilet. Great subtle touch. Finish is durable and made out of metal not a plastic material.Handle itself works well and looks great. It's "decorative" without sacrificing durability.

I was grateful for the product video on Amazon to find out I was actually trying to screw the pieces together clockwise instead of counter clockwise. Good looking, quality handle. Very satisfied.

After a few minor tweaks to the arm (which was not hard) the provided materials were sufficient enough to make the product work. It was made easy to bend, yet feels sturdy. With some know how, and elbow grease/provided materials, this seems like a sturdy choice. The handle fit decently into the tank decently (a little wiggly) and rotates nicely in the correct position. There is a rubber gasket to keep water from coming out from where the handle fits, but throws off the ballance of the handle weight if the chain is not exactly proper. Overall, the finish and function is decent enough to not leave the tank running, and looks decent, 3 stars only because I had to modify its positioning for 3 days prior to it finally working the way it is meant to. I would definitely lower the price a hair, so that it doesn’t make more sense to get an oem part to fix the problem. I do like that I will never have to worry about replacing the part anytime soon due to the brass rod being corrosion resistant and a thicker gauge. Not bad

I ordered the item and then the next day it was delivered. Seems like good quality...I replaced the old toilet handle and lever which was all plastic. This handle is metal and the arm inside the tank is brass. Super easy and quick to install. Super pleased with this purchase.

For this price, compared with cheaper options, I would expect that this device would allow for some slight adjustments to fit the toilet and be truly universal. It was impossible to fit mine. I returned it and bought a $7 option that perfectly fit my toilet.

It is a cheaper product, but it will do the job. Old saying you get what you paid for. At least there are metal parts and not completely made of plastic.

Tried to buy it in the local stores. But they don't carry it! Help to flush the toilet tank effectively. The only problem is it is a bot overpriced as compared with similar products. Anyway, I gave 5-star rating.
