1: Put the battery in.
2: Turn on the switch.Make sure only 1 light is lighting up on the scale. Make sure the “Ready Lamp”Light on.
3: Turn on the lights number corresponding to the indoor temperature and diamond weight.
4: When testing diamond, your index finger must keep touching the mmetal panel on the back of the tester. The probe is 90 degrees vertical to the diamond.

Agate:
If the monitor is real agate, the indicator light of the instrument will reach about 7.
Jade:
If the monitoring is real jade, then the indicator light of the instrument will reach 6/7.
Crystal:
If the monitor is a real crystal, the indicator light of the instrument will reach 7/8.
Diamond:
If the monitor is a real diamond, the indicator light of the instrument will reach above 9, and it will be accompanied by a beeping sound.

I really like the value you get with the whole package. Usually just buying the scale at places locally wants to charge you $25-$30. So getting the diamond tester with the uv light, and the loot with light is awesome. Now I can really observe my jewelry collection and label them and test if what I got is real.

Tried and tested on natural stones, diamonds and CZ’s. Large ruby tested similar to diamond..CZ’s don’t like the bar up making it easy to eliminate the faux. The kit items are fun and useful for further exploring. Easy, inexpensive find!

If your interest is to confirm if a diamond, don’t rely on this piece of garbage. Another Chinese piece of crap. Tried on a questionable diamond as well as a certified one. Didn’t work on either one. If you are confirming a diamond, it shouldn’t be a guessing game. After all isn’t that why you bought it? Suggest buying a proven checker like the Presidium DiamondMate either A or C. Average cost about $135.00.My mistake was to buy cheap and I regret it.
