With heavy heart I'm reporting that after trying 2 of these replacement CDI Ignition Modules (Advertised to replace OEM 5ND-85540-10-10) on a 2006 Yamaha YFM450 Kodiak which original was not supplying voltage to the ignition coil, but did supply start voltage. The replacement items both failed to supply electric starter voltage as well as failing to supply ignition voltage. We opted to purchase the much more expensive OEM item to resolve our problem. Wish that this more affordable option had worked for us

Everything works fine except the differential won’t lock and it won’t show your speed in four wheel drive.

Will start machine but will not stay running. Either this is defective or mapped wrong.Machines starts then stalls and will not stay running.Also drawing battery down.Will be returning.Too bad as the cdi is the issue. I guess it’s gonna have to be oem at three times the price.
