I use these in scale model building to grasp tiny parts and sometimes peel things apart that are too small to use my fingernails for, like stickers, and pick tiny things up, like miniature decals and screws. I've even removed a glass sliver and a wood splinter from my fingers with them. These tweezers would work well for lots of things, I imagine.The only downside is that because of the metal's thinness at the tip of the tweezers, which makes them functional for all of these tasks, they are not suitable for poking into and pinching metal objects with force as I found out when trying to clear fuzz out of some tiny roller wheels and the metal-on-metal contact bent the tips over. However, I did turn right around and order these same tweezers again because they are so great for so many other things.If you absolutely, positively have to grasp something tiny, these are the tweezers for you!

High quality especially at the price. I have several tweezers made by the same company and all are good. I use them for watch repair and to occasionally remove hairs from my nose and my nether regions.

Great for hobby use or garage use. I can't imagine that surgeons are buying their tools on Amazon. At least I hope not.
