High voltage ac transformers are very hard to find. I drove this using a 20v square wave from an h-bridge driver and it did just fine lighting a 5' neon tube. It worked well from 20KHz to about 40KHz with no resonance. Perfect for small plasma displays and neon drivers. Wish there were bigger versions available, but for what it is, it definitely a real find.

Unfortunately, I had been busy and didn't get around to messing with until it was too late to return it. I researched everything I could think of to get it working, but I'd guess it's fragile appearance is more than appearance. My fault for waiting so long to check it out.

Poorly made. Not a solid build. When being use it shakes and after a few days fall apart.
