You need to supply your own pigtails. No place is provided to easily connect ground wire to the case.

Building a professional sound studio with vintage equipment; have to have reduced voltage so we don't slam the vacuum tubes with the common higher voltage. This is used to isolate and slowly build up electrical pressure to the correct level (usually only 110V, not the 120-125 so common nowadays. Our older unit hummed and moaned, but this baby is quiet and smooth... not a sound. We'll outfit it with controls and indicators and dedicated plugs, hope to have it in service for some decades. Love the red; it commands attention!

look ya”ll, this this is ALOT of variac, we”ve hade it here for just a few days and have already nicknamed it “the beast”. This thing is larger and heavier that it looks in the picture, I was a bit intimidated when I unboxed it. Safety first people. Don’t get electrocuted.
