How to use 6INCH Seam Setter
1: Place the fixed (left) suction cup on the left slab. Place the movable (right) suction cup on the right slab.
2: Pump the plunger until the suction cup attaches completely.
3: To join the seam, turn the side knob counter clockwise until you are satisfied with a seamless appearance.
4: To level the slabs, make sure one of the blue head under the top knob is on the higher side of the seam and turn the top knob clockwise until the slabs are leveled. Usually you only need to use one top knob to level. Use two when there are any expanding needs.
5: Lift the rubber tab on the edge of the suction cup to release the suction after seam has been completed.

First off I bought this to help level some granite counter tops I had been installing in my kitchen first time I used em 1 of the cups broke off so I had to fix that but still had 1 that was usable. Managed to get my counters leveled but these things lose suction after about 20 mins even with a good draw on them making it worthless for keeping seams together during curing. I'd say buy a better brand if your looking for something durable

I bought a pair of them (with black suction cups). I had read some previous reviews of a few different brands, so upon delivery to my house I got them unpackaged to take a look. Suction was my major concern, so I placed both of them on my existing quartz countertop and pumped them up to full vacuum. The suction power is excellent and I was not able to get any movement out of them. Also while under full vacuum I gave the threaded knobs a workout to ensure they would not strip right away once I was actually installing the other parts of my countertop. All threaded knobs worked well. To test the reliability of the suction cups, I left both units vacuumed to the countertop. 24 hrs later both units were still fully under vacuum. Product also came with protective covers for the cups and tools to adjust the tool. Zero complaints from me, and I would recommend these to anyone that is interested.

Makes jointing and leveling solid surface counter tops so much easier, quicker and saves alot of frustration! Wish I would have bought a set a long time ago!

I bought this to use for work. Arelfter the first couple uses it worked like a charm. Then it would start losing it's suction and you would have to constantly pump it so the seam would stay level. I've used other similar devices and Id rather pay for a better item then go for the cheap one.. you get what you pay for.

Works okay suction cups have to constantly be pumped or they will loose their seal in a minute or 2
