I bought these to skin deer and hogs. I have arthritis in my hands so gripping the skin to pull is hard for me to do. I bought these in hopes it would help and they did! They’re steel so they are pretty sturdy (id like to know how some of these people managed to break theirs). I used them to skin a deer recently and they worked perfectly! Didn't take much force to squeeze them and grip the skin and it cane right off with no issues. I would gladly buy them again but I doubt I’ll ever have to.

This tool, along with sharp knives, and knowledge makes processing game a whole lot easier.In my younger years I was able to remove hides by hand.This tool allows me to remove hides with minimal effort.I can still hunt, and process the deer myself, without the need for help.

I'm a 68 year old deer hunter. The harder you pull the tighter it grips! It really helps ease the chore of skinning a deer.

These are hide pullers..... they WORK.... they will give great leverage when you can't get a descent grip....DrB
