I got these for my kids to have some fun and playtime without devices. I strapped it on to show them how to do it. It was snug on my adult head, but I was able to make it stay. After landing a few and a few landing on me, the kids were dying to get their hands on it. I did have to shorten the string for my 7 year old, it hung down too low for her to keep it going. I just wrapped the extra steing around the headband so it could be lowered again for older kids or adults with a longer reach. You don't need boxing gloves to use this but you certainly can if you want to. Even the cats were following us trying to get a smack in as the ball was bouncing around. So it's fun for the literally the whole family! The ball is a softer foam style, kinda like the Nerf Rival balls but bigger. While it doesn't feel good to get hit in the eye when you miss, it certainly doesn't hurt or cause swelling or anything. It's a great way to keep kids and adults active. Granted I don't think this size headband will fit all adults, but a normal sized adult head should be fine. The price is very reasonable for 2 sets and a lot cheaper than others I've seen. The others also don't have the rod which really helps to get you started. It's fun to bob, weave, and punch....gets the blood flowing. Excellent product and has held up to my rough family so far. Now the cat did try chewing the elastic string & had i not stopped him he would've chewed through it. So if you have pets make sure it's kept up and away or they will chew the ball or the string.

These were easy for the kids to put on. Very entertaining to watch them try to use them at first( they are very uncoordinated); so I figured maybe these would help.

This is a pretty basic game - a headband with a thin pole attached, which has a ball on a rope hanging down from it. The goal is to hit the ball as many times as you can without missing. While it sounds easy, it is actually quite tricky, and it requires a LOT of hand/eye coordination.

Got for my kids to give it a try. As there was a learning curve, knew I would have to demonstrate how they work And now I'm addicted.I call it unicorn club time, strap on the horn and just flail for 20 minutes trying to not take an eye out. jTo speak specifically to this product, the bands are tight, for me, an adult, but to be expected as it specifically states is for children. Even so, I run around 7.75 to 8 in fitted cap so this fits and +1 for having a head band with some stretch to it. They will send this in a plain brown box and let you know they are utilzing minimalist packaging to save the planet.Awesome, still would have been nice to get some instructionsj. For gear targeted towards kids it is very much assumed you know what you are doing and how to get there. Youtube helped there. The ball is a nice light foamy thing, less impact then even a tennis ball. As I have improved I find it just as entertaining to see how many alternating left, right strikes I can land and also ducking the ones I miss. To say that I've been struck in the face several, several times would be an understatement. That said, completely harmless with the one caveat being a direct hit to the eyeball or eyeball socket if you have enough momentum going. If you are considering this toy for your kids, likely ok with them catching a hit or two to the face, in which case I would assure that this is mostly harmless , for the overly cautious may want to consider some protective eyewear.Did not come with boxing gloves. Found the materials to be durably made with no fray or issue with daily use now for about 10 days

My two grandsons love these! I've been looking for something for them to use that wasn't a video game or some kind of iPad app, and this did the trick! They get to practice eye-hand coordination, and they laugh about it being attached to their heads, which was a joy to see. I think they are a great value and a durable item that is very easy to use

These are super fun to use. Our kids had a blast with them. We actually learned that our 14 yr old daughter has lightening fast reflexes...the rest of the kids not so much. They all got bopped in the face a few times as well as those of us standing around them. The headbands are thick and durable. They are easy to strap on and fit a variety of head sizes. So much fun for the whole family!

This is the second brand of head-mounted boxing traininer ball we've tried out. Overall it is a fun and addictive toy and is actually good exercise for your upper body.Likes:- A lot of fun. We spent hours playing with these.- The extended rod, mounted to your forehead, lessens the occurence of getting smacked in the face with the ball. The other major brand name of these toys does not have this feature, and you get hit in the face much more frequently. The rod also makes it easier to start, since the ball is already hanging near where you need it to start boxing.- Great value (as of this review) versus the brand name item. You get two of these for a low price.Dislikes:- Kid-oriented headband is too small for adults with large heads. It barely fits my head and I know others with much larger heads.- The rod mount design does wobble a bit as you hit the ball.Overall a fun toy that works well, given the caveats above.
