First impressions, it's a nice looking wheel. I would not call it perfect or high quality, but it's good for a tool wheel. After that it's like, wow, this is one big wheel. So it's made more for larger lathes. Not saying that is bad, just double check the size to make sure it will work for you. Wheel is durable and robust. Handle screws in easy and woks as it should.Nice wheel for the price, would recommend.

The hand wheel was quite nice, and seems very sturdy. It's about the biggest wheel that could fit on my 12" wood lathe, and installed without any issues. However, the threaded rod that is supposed to be part of the handle was entirely missing! That seems like an obvious enough manufacturing defect that it should have been caught before my unit left the factory. While that defect doesn't keep the hand wheel from serving it's purpose, the handle was part of the reason I selected this product, and does mean it's not a true replacement for the original hand wheel on my lathe's tailstock. All things considered, I'm still happy with it.
