Although it's a bit pricey, the cats love it and it really works well. They've lost a little bit of weight since I received it. They're more active and alert as well.

Neither of my cats would eat it. I had to donate it to a local rescue. It also seemed inconsistent to me. Contents seemed to vary in texture from can to can.

This food was prescribed by my veterinarian for one of my cats - he loves it. The other cat has always been indifferent to any canned food. I think this has been somewhat beneficial in weight maintenance - but I'm not sure I will continue with it, because it has become difficult to obtain and my vet has been unable to get it for the past 6-8 weeks. The availability on Amazon is great, but the price is much higher than what it used to be from veterinarians, so it may be on the way to phase-out by Hills.
