I chose this bolo because I wanted a bright gold bolo. It was photographed to appear bright. That is based on the photographer turning it at an angle to catch the light and make it look bright. It's not. It is a quite dark gold color. That said, the craftsmanship is very nice. I just wished they had depicted it as it actually appears. It's not a shiny gold which was what I wanted. Bummer.
