I bought a HIPA carb kit for an SRM225 weedeater I got from a buddy and it worked perfect. My Echo PB2100 had been running a little rough and I knew it could use new fuel lines and all so I figured I might as well order the whole kit and get it running right.Grommet to hold the fuel lines in is a little difficult to install, but it’s supposed to be. A little patience and a couple flat head screw drivers and you will get it in.Carb install was easy. Some mentioned gaskets not having the correct hole alignment? Mine was just fine, so maybe they have fixed that issue. A little tuning gave me max RPM at full throttle, a good idle and good transition.Overall VERY well work the $18.

The carburetor worked great. The only issue I had with this kit is that the grommet that fits in the gas tank is slightly oversize so was almost impossible to fit into the tank hole.No instructions included, but you just need to connect the 2 fittings on the carb so that when you push the primer bulb the fuel is sucked in from the corrugated hose (with the pickup filter) and squirts out the fuel return hose back into the tank. Also, a hint for those considering replacing the carb because the engine won't run at full speed - the problem is probably that the muffler is plugged up. There's a fine screen in it that gets carbon plugged. Take the muffler apart and clean that screen. Put it back together and you'll be back in business.

This carb worked great for this P2100 blower. The original issue was the carb would not pump gas intot he primer. rebuilt the carb and still would not pull the gas. Within 10 minutes of recieving the carb, it was installed and the blower cranked on the 2nd pull (didnt have it on start). I did turn the High Speed up 1/4 turn and the idle down probably one turn, but sounds great and does it job again.

Inherited my Echo PB2100 from my dad along with some other equipment. Tried adjusting the old carb many times always had to play around with it to get it started. Couldn’t find a primer bulb locally and when mine cracked I doubled over a ziploc bag cut to shape and it still ran just not well. I literally ran it that way for 3 yrs and eventually it got to the point where you would have to rev the throttle to keep it running when the idle circuit clogged. Eventually someone dropped it and it bent the adjustment screws for the old carb. Still ran just took 10 mins to get started so I started not really using it and leaving my driveway look terrible after mowing.Last week, just randomly typed the blower into Amazon and found this kit. For $20 I figured sure why not. Once I figured out the linkage for the throttle the install was a breeze. Tip: You have to remove the screws at the top of the handle, pull it apart, and the rod slides in with the little hook to the bottom of the throttle trigger from the opposite side of the carb. Leave the carb loose from the motor to install the linkage to the carb. The gasket didn’t match on the side of the carb the goes to the motor so I reused the old one. Takes a little bit to get the seal into the fuel tank but as another review said just use a flat head to gently coax it into place after you get it started on one side.Amazingly enough, once I got it installed and put the air filter on it fired the first pull with choke on. Turned choke off pulled again and it idled like it was brand new. Did a very slight adjustment out on the high screw and that was it. Really kicking myself for not buying this sooner. Only knock I have on it is the included spark plug was pregapped using a smash the electrode gauge so it was useless but my old one was replaced a while ago and was still fine. No instructions included but having 2 extra primers, all the fuel lines including the vent and a filter plus an air filter is still a pretty good deal. Glad to have another piece of Dads old stuff running like new again and it saved me from buying a new one.
