Replaced the precut manual feed head with this one. It works awesome, can handle heavier feed. The unit didn't even know it was there it is a little heavier. But worth the money if your times valuable

I have acreage at 3 properties that I maintain and got tired of the hassle of adding new line to my two weedeaters. I was told I should look at one of the easy loading replacement heads. A little searching online found the speed feed trimmer heads. This is not the original but I guess just a clone of the design. I ordered two and they work perfectly on both my heavy duty Stihl weedeater I use on our large property and my lightweight Echo one I use at the house. I can now load new line in about 2minutes where it used to take 10-15 with alot of hassles. The new head just screwed directly on my echo weedeater. I did have to put a new threaded piece on the Stihl for it to work but was very easy to do with no special tools other than a thin screwdriver to block the head from rotating. I've used them both for a month or so now and can say they work really well. The main thing about them is now I can add line without all the hassles. I wish I had done it years ago. Great product, highly recommended!

I have Echo GT1100 trimmer with curve shaft. This universal speed trimmer head worked great. My echo trimmer is about 30 hrs. old. The stud at the end of shaft is a 3/8-24 fine thread. The black bushing did not fit ( metric thread). The red bushings, I drilled and tap it to a 3/8-24 thread and installed trimmer head. I used the trimmer on some tough ivy, worked great.

I have purchased two different reel heads to fit my echo! Neither fit ! Got the pieces to adapt! None fit the reel ! I have tried the combination posted in the directions and it doesn’t fit the reel! Tried all the pieces in every possiblity and combination! Nope, Nope!Update: went to hardware store and bought third reel. Still couldn’t get it to fit even though it came with extra parts. Took it back to the store and had a sales person look at it! He read instructions and fiddled and fiddle for about 45 minutes and finally discovered you have to take the sucker apart and replace the original big black nylon piece with the white nylon piece and it finally fit. At least I now have two replacements and plenty of string from the two extra heads!

No complaints. Well written instructions and the product performed as expected. It was a solid upgrade over my OEM trimmer head.

Used mine on a curved weed wacker. Seems a little bulky on lighter equipment.

The trimer shaft has a M10x1. LH thread 1/2 long. Included with this head was a M10x1 bushing, with the front of threads cleared for 1/2 inch. Why?? Just so can't use it. Returned!
