Power on DVR

Here is my review: I have tried it out un-installed and it seems to work. Installation for me at least is a bit difficult because I need to wait for the weather to cool off since the wires are going through the attic - HOT SOMMERS. Anyway, seems all solid and connects well. The yellow sticker signs "WARNING", come on people, learn English before you print up:Warning - 24 HOUR Internet Monitor / Attentions Please. You have entered the monitoring area..Who talks like that? May I suggest: "24/7 SURVEILLANCE". TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED".or something like that. Keep it shorter. The picture of the video camera already suggests that it is an area that is surveilled by a video security system. 24/7 means "all the time - non stop". Keep the brand name off the sticker. Burglars - Trespassers are not interested in knowing who made the equipment... that is if you want to actually be taken serious like you mean it. And the "PLEASE", come on, seriously "Please don't break into my house". You got to be kidding. Are you in the video surveillance equipment business or running a daycare center? "Monitoring area", everybody knows that a video camera covers an area. No need to say that. Plus, trespassers and burglars don't read the sign. The need to be made aware, if they enter the subject surveilled property, there is a camera that will see them doing that. A secondary benefit to a sign is to state "Trespassers will be prosecuted".Just wanted to take a moment and explain that and give you my opinion. Other than that, I will be placing pre-fabricated steel signs that are neutral and down to the point anyway. Thanks for the equipment. I am seriously entertaining to buy a second system next year.

Bought this to monitor my home and property. Setup was easy, connect the cables, plug everything in, and recording begins.All 8 cameras can be set to 1296x1944 at 6FPSI have mine set to 1920x1080 at 6fps.There is a mobile app required to view the feed on your phone, and a download on pc to see them in your browser. The mobile apps send motion alerts to your phone if you set it up.It streams RTSP feeds out if you have home assistant so you can view feeds on your HA dashboard

It's been a solid system and easy to use, but 2 of my cameras have gone black and are still recording but just a black screen. Does anyone have any idea how to fix our reset a single camera I have done From. Unplug it, plug it, let it sit unplugged.reset The whole system etc.

I am really impressed with the simple secure. Setup of this system I purchased hard wired to avoid hacking in and the 3 TB n r records and breaks down in good graphs menu showing precise date time of your search the system is really good and value for the cost system has ability to clear lens if rain snow frost night vision is great I am so glad I purchased this system

I can’t see vehicle tags with this system. Probably 20 feet away and not able to see tags. They work fine for security. I feel like the app could be easier to navigate. Also more features would be nice like editing time to standard not military. I’m overall satisfied but I may upgrade to a more capable cctv

Update: I have given up on this system. Still a great system just for viewing but an absolute zero on the detection/alarm side. Have had 2 cameras go offline . We have spent hours setting up the detection zones and still getting numerous alerts for rain, bugs and wind. We even blocked out the entire camera zone and still get human detection hits! After a year of replacing drive units and the constant hassle of false alarms, I’m done.These camera have great quality, easy to install but alerted too often for non existent motion and vehicle detection. I wasn’t able to use the privacy blocking feature to stop these false alarms. I contacted customer service and they immediately began working with me to resolve my issue. Shortly after they sent an upgraded NVR( system control box) and Wow!!!! what a difference! Easy to install, upgraded mobile app, easy access to camera controls, very easy to set up privacy areas at each camera and no false alarms. This company went above and beyond to help us with all of our issues. I feel satisfied that if I have issues in the future, one email to them will help resolve them.

The system was very easy to set up. I am very impressed with the picture quality. The night vision is also very good. I had a similar system before and the night vision of this new system is a major improvement. I can see the things clearly at least 60ft to 70ft out at night. The mobile phone app is good and works as it should. Its very simple to set up. I hooked the system up to a 32" TV with a HDMI cord that comes with the system. It also comes with a wired mouse to control the on screen menu's. I was worried about cold temperatures being a problem but we have had temps below 18 degrees Celsius so far and no issues at all.You can also install a program named "VMS" on your computer to access the camera system for viewing. I just followed the instruction manual and found the free program online and installed it. When using the computer to monitor the cameras the alert function speaks to you and lets you know what type of motion it detects. Example Face detect, Human detect, vehicle detect, and so on. These functions are adjustable to your liking.A friend of mine saw this set up and asked me to order the same system for him, We set it up at his house and he is very satisfied also.

I didn't instal this system for several months after I bought it. I used it to replace another brand that was several years old and had poor quality images. I purposely went with a wired system as the previous one was also wired and I could use the same cables. It was just a matter of replacing the cameras and connecting to the recorder. My main complaint is about the quality of the camera housings and adjustments. One camera just slipped in my hand as I was installing it and when I caught it, it just broke at the angle adjustment. A second one broke in the same area as I was trying to adjust the angle and did not have the adjustment screw loose enough. In both cases, very little pressure was applied to break these mounts. Also the screws that lock the adjustment in place have a Phillips style head, but do not fit any Phillips style screwdriver I have. I did re-engineer the camera housings at the break point and they are much more robust now. After getting six of the eight cameras connected, the quality of the images is much, much better than my old system. The night vision extends more than double the distance and almost looks like daylight in black and white. I have only had it running for a few days, so I cannot comment on others' complaints about short life. I didn't pay a lot of attention to the wifi capability during the purchase, but I will probably try to connect it later. I will update my review in a month or so and pass along any opinions then. Four stars so far. Might have been five except for the poor camera bases.Review update Nov14/24. I had the system stop working after I missed an update invitation (my fault). I contacted Hiseeu via email and got a response quickly. They gave me good instructions on what to do to get a firmware update. The process was quite easy and straightforward. It all went well and the communication was excellent. Five stars for the customer service.

i found that the cameras give a good picture day or night and the control unit including the app was easy to use for playback and live view, instantly working between camera with no lagging.perfect for the price
