After 2 years of fixing an area rug atop a carpet every time I walk into the room, this has kept the rug in place so far(2 weeks). I would give it a 5, cut on the pricey side.

I waited to see how this pad worked. I wanted to put an Aubusson bedside rug down on top of wall to wall carpeting and I wanted it to hold the carpet in place and protect the Aubusson rug as well as the carpet underneath. So far this pad works great and since I had had to cut it down a little bit I was able to use the pieces to put a small cotton rug down on my kitchen floor and the instructions on which way to turn it or a little different but I used that piece to adhere that rug and it works great too so I almost got two for the price of one in terms of this pad.

Although we had to trim the edges to fit under our 9 ft round rug, it was a good product and does the job as promised.

This worked for only two months, and since the non slip stopped working and it is so slippery. My 10 year old just slipped on it and fell. Don’t buy this it is too expensive and doesn’t work for more than a few months.
