I have purchased two of these so far over the last 6 months. Which says a lot because I’ve purchased hole saws for cutting recessed can lights from Home Depot and Lowe’s that last maybe 3 jobs max. The second you hit a nail or screw with the others, you might as well go buy another one. This one works well even after hitting screws. Only complaint I’d have with this is that I wish it was a bit deeper for ceilings that have plywood and Sheetrock but it’s not that big of a deal to pop out the Sheetrock then cut the plywood in those cases. I also like that this is 6-1/8 compared to 6-3/8 or 6-5/8 as some recessed light templates recommend. I find the hole is always a little too big and this one allows them to fit snug with very minimal wiggle room. Great product at 1/2 the cost of retail stores!

I just needed to drill two holes through soffit for exhaust vent. Hole saw worked great for me.I’m really writing this to vent (pun intended) about Amazon delivery. Product arrived three days after original delivery date. If you are like me you purchase items based on delivery date and not just price. Amazon needs to be more accurate with their delivery dates

I bought the 4 -1/2 inch model, and cut 12 holes through 3/4 inch marine grade plywood so far. Seems to be holding its edge and will no doubt be able to cut many more holes. The saw is slight out of round and not bad. Only drawback is if you stop the saw too quickly when it is not cutting, the blade will spin off of the center shank, and you may have to screw it back on before re-using. A minor annoyance that I can live with considering the price paid.

Needed a larger hole for my door, it did the trick. I can't speak to its longevity, but it worked for me. And yah, I was getting stuck a lot till I realized it's cuts better when it spins counterclockwise.

I bought this saw to cut 2 holes through 1mm thick galvanized mild steel plate. The saw performed well and was still sharp afterwards.

This is junk. It is also dangerous. It nearly broke my hand trying to drill through a 2 x 4. I would not recommend this product.
