Purchased to use with 72" high wire shelving units. Works perfectly! Being able to move shelf racks easily makes it a breeze to sweep around racks or rearrange shelf location. Wheels and locks seem solid. Wheel locks are easy to use by stepping on the lock. Easy to unlock too. Wheels seem like a hard rubber that runs over garage floor smoothly; does not grind on garage floor particles like cheap plastic wheels do. No cons. Bought 4 sets of these already.

Very good casters for my woodworking equipment. When locked the machinery remains stable and immobile. Works perfect for this application.

After almost 20 years, during 10 of which our little Yorkie peed on them, the casters on the BGE were immovably corroded. It was time to change them out and I started looking for replacements. After looking at dozens of different casters, I selected the Holkie 3 inch Total Locking set. When they arrived, I was impressed with their looks and what appears to be quality construction. Installation of the new casters was very easy; it was removal of the old, corroded casters that took all the effort. The new casters look great on the BGE Caddy and roll very smoothly. It is too soon to say how well they will stand up to time and the weather (we no longer have a dog). Only two somewhat negative comments; as other reviewers have mentioned, the two wrenches provided are worthless, you might just as well use your fingers. The second is that while all the specs and dimensions are in inches; i.e., 3 inch wheels, 1 inch bolt length, 3/8†-16UNC, the nuts provided required the use of a 17mm box wrench. When I tried an 11/16 box wrench, it was loose enough that it would have possibly stripped the nut when tightening.

The purpose for these wheels is to be able to move my seedlings from the window to the door of my studio for full sun exposure. I am a 63 year old female with back issues so I was mainly looking for ease of use. I had to return another brand that was the wrong size post and wasn’t impressed with the quality. when reordering I went with this brand for the good price. I was impressed before I opened the box due to the weight which translated to heavy duty in my opinion. I thought I would have to ask for help putting the wheels on, however, I was able to tilt the rack and install them in place. It was a pleasure to do with these heavy duty, well oiled attractive wheels. I actually got emotional because the installation process just went well and the final product worked as I had imagined. I was looking around to see what else I could put wheels on so I could buy more.😊

Ordered the locking casters, the SAE thread is almost a match for the metric for this welding table legs so it screws in loosely, then it can be tightened in with the supplied nuts. Very smooth rolling wheel, they swivel easily and lockup is excellent. I would buy again for this or other similar projects.

The casters appear solid and roll well and turn well after installed under my high grade wire racking system. The provided wrenches are mild steel and only good for one install at best. There are two thin wrenches and I suggest to all to use them both on top of each other to tighten the stems. I wish I would have figured that out right from the start. I bought a total of 6 sets of 4 casters. I have not tested them for kilometers but they feel good. The brake levers operate well and are effective on your clean wheels

Providing a spanner 🔧 to fix is useless, The bolts threads doesn't match the threads of the nuts, meaning I need to go to hardware search for the matching rough threaded wheel bolt. I can't return nor use unless I find a match , buy at your own risk.

Use these on a 8020 Sim Driving Rig with a ton of weight (300lbs+ without person) to move it around when I need to do some cleaning/adjusting. Used to have 3" wheels and it was a pain to move it on carpet. Put these on and it moves like melted butter.
