Went with these to match the rather excellent wheels my chair came with but these are smoother and do not change the dimensions of chair with OEM casters. Great upgrade for the price.

I should have done this a long time ago. If you have the standard double plastic wheels, get these. Butter smooth.

MODIFIED MY OLD STELCASE SIDE CHAIR, BY DRILLING OUT THE 9.3 mm (propriatary) SWIVEL WHEEL SHAFTS TO ABOUT 9.9-10mm. NEW 10mm WHEEL SHAFT WAS A NICE SNUG FIT AND WOULD NO FALL OUT. GREAT ON HARDWOOD AND CHAIR MAT, BUT MY WEIGHT PLUS THE STURDY CHAIR WEIGHT REQUIRED SOME EFFORT TO MOVE ON CARPET. PROBABLY WORTH THE EFFORT FOR A STEELCAASE CHAIR AND IT'S BACK SUPPORT. NEXT TIME , BE PREPARED, START. WITH CALIPERS!

Very nice wheels for the price paid. They are sturdy and hold up 200+ lbs. Only took a star away bc on hardwood without a rug the chair is constantly moving. The wheels glide a little too well in that aspect. But they were very easy to use

PodrÃas sacar la silla a la calle y que te llevaran de paseo sin esfuerzo.Ruedan MUY bien, son muy finas y respetuosas con el suelo (tengo parquet), como unos buenos patines. De echo, a veces, es incluso demasiado fácil rodar de más con ellas. No se enganchan ni rascan, son increÃblemente silenciosas y se colocan muy facilmente.Recomendables 100%

Much sturdier than the standard wheels. Very easy to install & glide well on carpet. They are a bit higher than the original wheels but only by a couple of centimetres.
