This is the perfect size to put under the back of my knees while sleeping to reduce back strain. It is very soft and pliable which is what I was looking for as the last two I have tried were too firm.

I have lower back, hip and knee issues, so sleeping with some sort of pillow between my knees is a must. Full-sized pillows are bulky and awkward, and I have a small memory foam "pillow"... but it never stays in place.That's where this knee pillow comes into play. It's about as long as a standard pillow, but it isn't nearly as wide. It also has some stitching on both sides that creates a sort of channel for your legs to fit into.When I took it out of the package, it was vacuum sealed to not take up as much space, smaller shipping container, which I appreciate! However when I cut the bag, it really didn't fluff up much, and didn't seem like it was going to be firm enough to keep my knees from touching with it between them. With it being shredded memory foam, I expected it to be a little more dense. It almost felt like it was filled with chunky down. But I was surprised by the time I got to bed - it had fluffed up a bit more, and was surprisingly comfortable! It had enough support for my top leg, and it didn't get in the way like a standard sized pillow would. It also stayed in place without any sort of straps!As far as it being "cooling" - I'm not noticing much of that. If your leg stays on it for more than a couple minutes, it's going to get a little warm. Not unbearable though. The pillow cover does collect pet hair very easily (and my dogs sleep under the covers), so I have to run my lint roller over it often to keep from getting the dog hair prickles! I wish it actually had a little pillow case to go over it instead - I may have to make one myself.But that aside, it's a great knee pillow for if you need a little extra support as you sleep. If this one goes flat, I'd absolutely choose it again.

The pillow is soft, yet firm enough to give adequate space between my knees. It is definitely cooling. I highly recommend if this is the type sleeping knee pillow you need.

This product is supposed to support you, when I took it out of the package it was completely flat, no support at all. And no note or instructions, label or anything with it. Garbage product, don't risk it.

I have lower back issues and I was looking for something to ease the pain. One recommendation was to sleep with a pillow between my knees. A standard pillow was too large to use comfortably so I tried a memory foam travel pillow. I couldn't keep that between my knees. When I saw this knee pillow, I thought I'd give it a shot. It works really well for me! The pillow is no so bulky that it gets in the way and, with the seam in the middle, it really stays in place. I don't even have trouble keeping it between my knees when I roll over.The pillow does stay cool, as advertised, and the cover feels really nice. I like the way it is constructed. The one thing that isn't that great on the pillow is the zipper for the cover. The pull tab seems flimsy and it was really a challenge to unzip it and then zip it back up. (I wanted to see what the pillow looked like without the cover.) I'm hoping I don't have to pull the cover off completely off because I'm not sure I'll be able to get it back on.Other than that minor issue, I'm really happy with it! My cats love it, too! They like to sleep with their back right against it while it is under the covers.

I have been really impressed with this cooling knee pilow. I needed something that was long enough to support my whole leg from my knee to my ankle. Just having a pillow between my knees wasn't enough to reduce my back pain. This knee pillow fits that bill. It is the perfect length. It also works great as a knee support when you sleep on your back. It is soft enough to be comfortable yet still firm enough to be supportive, a rare find for me and it does not get hot! Definitely recommend!

I debated between the 5.5" and the 6.5". Glad I went with the latter; this isn't very dense, and doesn't even begin to fill out its casing. Well enough to call it 6.5", but it's more like a 4.5" in terms of actual foam.

I love how cold this pillow is. It provides support and comfort. The pillow is made really well, and you cannot tell it is made with shredded materials. The perfect pillow for side sleepers.
