These sliders are very hard to separate to install them. There is a obscure set of directions that pops up if you try to return them. But nothing in the instructions that come with them. Those instructions just say to wear gloves and pull them apart. Does not work. The instructions say to use a tool to press in the hole. It looks like an allen wrench. I finally did that and was able to separate them. But it was not at all intuitive and even after I did it, I was not sure what I did. The instructions really need to be improved. If a tool is needed, it should be provided or spelled out. They list the tools you need on the instructions, but a 3 mm allen wrench is not one of them.

For a single drawer slider support , this model is amazingly strong. It is also a breeze to install and comes with all necessary hardware and good instructions. When installed, the drawer slides easily but firmly. Excellent purchase.

Instructions are a bit hard to understand, plus they tell you to separate the two slide pieces but don't give you any clue as to how. I was lucky to find a handy video and it's easy. You just grab each section and pull them apart by hand. It takes 3 or 4 tries and you have to yank them really hard at first, but they do just slide apart. Then you can secure them to the drawer and cabinet per the instructions.
