April 2019 I bought and received "Home Intuition Heavy Duty Adjustable Bed Risers or Furniture Riser 3, 5 or 8-Inch, 4 Pack". I am using them to raise a twin bed another 8 inches so I can store totes full of toys & clothes under the bed. The 3" & 5" stack to make 8". They fit together very securely and the bed casters (wheels) fit in the top one and cannot come out by accident, due to the nice 1" lip around the top that keeps the caster safely inside the recessed square. Once the bed was up on all 4 risers, it was easy to slide the bed against the wall. I do have wooden floors in that room, but the bottom of the risers have a wide lip that it slides on. The bottom is not rough cut plastic that scrapes or cuts the floor when it moves. The lip probably slides on carpet too. I also want to add- it isn't slippery. I have to give an intentional push to move it. I feel it is safe and sturdy. It doesn't slide around when I test getting in and out of the bed energetically (like kids). I have been using it for about 2 weeks and I am very happy with it.

I ordered this for my niece so she could raise her dorm room bed. She said they worked great and she was able to get more stuff under her bed and have more room in her small dorm room.

These are very sturdy and not too bad of a product but the bed legs seem to slide around too much on the riser. I think another design would be better, where there would be a guide to somehow stop the sliding. Also, they are slick on the underside so they will make a bed slide when you want it to but also when you dont want it to. I guess you could attach some rubber grips on the bottom. We have just had the risers start sliding, causing the bed to fall totally off them, when you even lean against the bed. I guess it would be okay for a bed that has one side against the wall for stability.

This was the perfect solution to our problem. We recently bought a new bed when moving an aging parent into assisted care. The new box springs and mattress set turned out to be too high for our mother to readily get into or out of the bed safely, so we removed the box springs and lined the frame with ply-wood. This resulted in the bed being too low, and being hard on our mother's knees. That is when we ordered these adjustable bed risers that allowed us to vary and experiment to find just the right height. We started with the 5" riser, but it was at the limit of where we needed to be, so we switched to the 3" set. This was perfect. If our mother is able to rebuild her leg strength, we'll probably switch back to the 5". The point being that we have the option. … The risers are nice and solid, and readily bear the bed and the occupant's weight, and are easy to switch in and out as we sought the perfect height. Under-bed storage was not our goal, but I can see how that could have been an added benefit for our situation.

They are not that sturdy. I had to turn them into flowers pot because they could hold the weight what I wanted them for. They didn’t function for me .
