Like everything else on amazon, if its a promoted item its not worth it. I think Amazon makes most its money from inferior products at outrageous original price then marked down 75%. And they bet you won't return the items because you feel its your fault. These are exactly that. The top may keep ants out but touch them and the top falls right off. I've lost brown sugar and various other kitchen staples. And don't even try to fit cereal into the big container. So kuch for organizing the kitchen. They make big money off our good intentions.

These worked well in organizing drawers in the kitchen. It’s smaller than expected but they were durable and it got the job done.

I ordered these hoping to make them my new canisters for flour, sugar, cornmeal, etc. but they were too small to fit even one small bag of sugar. So I use them to store other stuff, like straws, ziplock bags, and to carry items with me for lunch to work. So if your looking for a large canister this is not it.

I find them best used to store dry ingredients. I use them for corn starch and pasta. Nice, tight fit on the lid with a good seal.
