Ordered these to use with my fishing leaders. Great solution for this purpose. 6 of these fit in a small tackle box and allow me to have pre tied leaders, so no last minute scrambles on the boat. Quality is what you would expect and as described. Priced well.

These are just as good as the expensive ones and at a great low price. I carry multiple ones when fishing to safe time on the river changing out leaders. Great deal.

For what you pay, I don't think it gets better than these. They hold hook and leader without any issue. Easy to store and I don't feel like I am lacking anything with these for fish hook storage.

These are pretty standard foam rigging spools and there’s not really room for innovation on these things. They’re exactly what I anticipated. Plus, I got a ton of them for the money. I have more foam rigging spools now than I could ever possibly use. I keep maybe 5 or 6 in a vest pocket for dry-dropper and double/triple nymph rigs, so the rest are in my tackle storage at home. I’ll probably be giving them away to other angler friends for years. I can’t think of any downsides to these things unless you’re really against using brightly colored rigging spools for some reason.

So these are the perfect size to set up droppers for fly fishing. They are super lightweight. The price is hard to beat. The issue I have are the voids as seen in the picture. It doesn't impact function, but it is a bit disappointing.

I used to use pool noodles to keep my long leader rigs. I fish a weedy bottom lake and leaders would often get caught up in pretty intense weeds when reeling. Since, I have started snelling 6’ leaders so I could avoid this. I used pool noodles cut to size in a 5 gal bucket and they were great. But it’s winter and pool noodles are pretty seasonal. These aren’t as easy, but they are effective. I wish there was a way to trap the line so I didn’t have to hold it while winding on leader to hook. I cut a slit in them for that purpose, but the foam is so soft it just bends with any tension. Will go back to using pool noodles this summer.
